December to February
Our
first winter
You were born on 18 December, on a cold morning just before Christmas. In those first weeks we got to know each other, breathed in your scent and did a great deal of cuddling.
After a week we went outside together for the first time. We wrapped you up so warmly that almost nothing but the tip of your little nose was still showing. In February you and Mama sat on a sledge together for the first time. Papa pushed slowly, carefully and very proudly.
