Hi, I'm Marina — the creator behind noizybutpurple.

For years, I've been fascinated by the ways stories can connect people across time, place and experience. Through my work, I create interactive experiences that unfold across both physical and digital space, inviting people to participate and become part of the story.

Memory Portals grew from a simple question:

What if our most meaningful memories could become living experiences — rather than static photographs or forgotten files?

Each Memory Portal is created in close collaboration with the people behind it. Together, we transform personal memories, stories and moments into interactive experiences that can be revisited, shared and passed on.

Because every memory is unique, every Memory Portal is unique too.

It depends on the package. Standard portals are typically completed in 2–3 weeks from the point all your memories and materials are shared. Signature portals take 3–5 weeks, given the deeper collaborative and creative process. Legacy portals begin right away, but because memory gathering, family interviews and curation are at the heart of the process, the full journey typically unfolds over 6 months to a year. We'll always agree on a timeline together before we begin.

No — a few words and a link to your photos is enough to begin. I'll guide you from there. The consultation call is where we really get into the details together.

That's the point — you don't have to. Through our conversation, I'll discover the details that matter: the places, symbols and moments that are uniquely yours. Each shape and element in the artwork is chosen to reflect something real about your story — not how it felt, but who you are and what it meant.

Yes — anything that works on a website can be included: text, photos, videos, voice messages, audio recordings, music, links, maps and more. If it's digital, it can be part of your gallery. The only limit is what can live on a screen — a perfume bottle can't be included, but the story behind it can.

Each Memory Portal includes NFC technology — just tap your phone against the artwork and your gallery opens instantly. No app required. It works on both iOS and Android. Your gallery also has a private link, so you can share it with family and friends even if they're not near the artwork.

Absolutely. Just mention it in the form — I'll help you shape it as a surprise or a shared experience. It's one of the most meaningful gifts you can give someone.

Your satisfaction matters deeply to me. Before anything is finalised, I'll share the artwork concept with you and we'll discuss it together. If something doesn't feel right, we'll refine it until it does. The Signature and Legacy packages include a collaborative revision process built in from the start — you're part of the creative journey, not just the recipient of it.

Your memories are always yours — that's a guarantee. Every Memory Portal comes with a USB stick containing all your source files: your digital gallery, your photos, your stories. If the service ever becomes unavailable, your files are safe and can be re-uploaded or accessed again independently. The physical artwork stays on your wall forever. We'll always give at least 30 days' notice before any significant change to the service.

Currently shipping within Europe. If you're based outside Europe, get in touch — I'll do my best to find a solution for you.

Your gallery has no public URL — it's only accessible through your physical artwork or a private link you share intentionally. The NFC chip in your portal uses cryptographic authentication (NTAG 424 DNA): every tap generates a unique encrypted code that cannot be cloned or faked.

We don't use cookies or advertising trackers. Our analytics tool runs without cookies and anonymises all IP addresses. Your personal content — photos, videos, memories — is stored securely, used only to build your gallery, and never shared with third parties. You can request deletion at any time.

Some memories are too important to stay hidden in your photo roll.
